It's the mandate of the glowing red dot Same old story, same old spot All helpless victims too familiar with the plot Just a minute and quickly spreads the cancerous clot Time stands still as motion is now an illusion As more vehicles join the stagnant procession For some, it's just another game Start-Stop, repeat and take god's name in vain Impatient drivers curse the seeping two wheeled pests As they feel trapped in their four wheeled nests The drizzle has settled the nomadic dust The excruciating wait makes my bones rust Hungry pack of wolves honk as impatience is evident As finally... the rufescent dot turns virescent They rev-up and rejoice as they feel liberated The fleeting freedom, obliterated even before it started!
